Crime and Punishment

Go behind the scenes to study the complex issues related to crime, victimization and justice in this dynamic Master of Science (M.S.) program.

Offered both on-campus and online, the Criminology master’s program helps you develop a deep understanding of the causes of criminal behavior, the consequences of crime on our society and how we can work to prevent crime in the future. You'll examine the criminological theories and methods used by social scientists to understand crime and crime control and explore how we can use evidence-based practices to strengthen our justice system. Choose the thesis or non-thesis track to help advance your career in criminal justice or continue your studies at the doctoral level.
