Academic Impressions
In partnership with the Office of the Provost & Executive Vice President and the University of Idaho Library, Employee Development and Learning offers all UI employees access to Academic Impressions. Academic Impressions (AI) is a platform dedicated to providing leadership, personal development, and skills-based training opportunities to faculty and staff in higher education. Most training is free via our partnership with AI, and some courses are available with a fee.
All University of Idaho employees can access AI through their Single Sign-On (SSO). Visit Academic Impressions and click “Create Account/Login” in the upper right corner of the screen.
Enter your “uidaho.edu” email address. A blue box saying “Log in using your University of Idaho credentials” will appear.
Click on the blue box and follow the U of I authentication prompts. Once you are logged in, click on the “Start Learning” link in the navigation near the top of the page and start exploring!

Supervisor Training
Academic Impressions Supervisor Certificate Program — Begins September 30, 2024
Learn effective strategies for supervision and gain practical tools to support your team in just 4 weeks. This program is primarily designed for those supervising professional and/or student staff or those who aspire to be a supervisor. If you are new to your role or want to hone your existing supervisory skills and approaches, this course is for you.
Academic Impressions Supervisor Discussion Circle
Supervision can spark lots of questions — join a community of supervisors to help sharpen your unique approach. This discussion circle offers you a community with which to share wins, challenges, and questions.

Inclusive Leadership Certificate Program: Build Your Skills and Self-Awareness — Begins October 15
This program takes you on a deep dive into self-awareness and personal development to help you to become a more inclusive leader. You can participate individually or with your team in this 4-week program.
