March 06, 2024

MOSCOW, Idaho — “DancersDrummersDreamers” (DDD), a 33-year-old music and dance tradition, takes to the stage Thursday through Saturday, March 21-23, at the Hartung Theater on University of Idaho’s campus in Moscow.

DDD is presented through a collaboration by the U of I Dance Program and the Lionel Hampton School of Music. The concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. March 21-23, with an additional performance at 2 p.m. March 23.

Described as a modern variety show with music, dance, song and moments of slapstick comedy, DDD was founded in 1991 by Dan Bukvich and Diane Walker. This unique production features student dance choreography performed to original, live music composed by music faculty members and students. It is a family-friendly event, described as eclectic, playful, fun, entertaining, collaborative, high energy and imaginative.

Tickets range from $10 to $16.50 and can be purchased at uitickets.com. Special ticket offers include $5 tickets for U of I students on March 21 and one free youth ticket with the purchase of each adult ticket for the March 23 matinee. A stream of the event will be available Monday, March 25, through Monday, April 1. Tickets for the virtual event start at $15 and can also be purchased at uitickets.com.
