Volunteers Needed for 57th Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival

March 22, 2024

MOSCOW, Idaho — Community members and U of I students and employees with a passion for music and arts are invited to join the team of volunteers for the 57th Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival happening Wednesday through Saturday, April 17-20, on U of I’s Moscow campus.

“Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival,” Lionel Hampton Festival Manager Navin Chettri said. “Each year, hundreds of individuals join our outstanding volunteer team, which offers opportunities to acquire skills in festival operations and management and, above all, enjoy world-class jazz right here on campus.”

Volunteers will receive one free concert ticket for every four hours of service. Register as a volunteer online by Friday, March 29. Find more information about the festival, including specific volunteer duties, at uidaho.edu/jazzfest.
