Screen on the Green Movie Series Begins June 13 at U of I

MOSCOW, Idaho — University of Idaho’s Screen on the Green returns with a summer lineup of classic movies.

Sponsored by the Department of Student Involvement and Vandal Entertainment, the family-friendly outdoor movies show at dusk on Thursdays, starting June 13, on the Theophilus Tower Lawn. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and snacks from home. Seating opens at 7:30 p.m.

The schedule includes:

  • June 13: “The Little Rascals” (PG)
  • June 20: “Back to the Future” (PG)
  • June 27: “Cars” (G)
  • July 11: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (PG-13)
  • July 18: “Strange World” (PG)
  • July 25: “Maleficent” (PG)
  • Aug. 1: “The Lost City” (PG-13)
  • Aug. 8: “Barbie” (PG-13)
  • Aug. 15: “Top Gun” (PG)
  • Aug. 22: “Moonrise Kingdom” (PG-13)
  • Aug. 29: “Wayne's World” (PG-13)

The lineup is subject to change. In the event of bad weather, Screen on the Green will be rescheduled for another date.

Theophilus Tower Lawn is located off Paradise Creek Street, between Line Street and Stadium Drive in Moscow. Free public parking is available in Gold lot 56 on the corner of Sixth and Rayburn streets.
